The names of Ministers Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Rajitha Senaratne, Sajith Premadasa and Lakshman Kiriella are in the first report submitted to President Maithripala Sirisena by the Presidential Commission investigating the fraud and corruption of the good governance government, reports say.
The first report has been handed over to the President following the conclusion of investigations at fifteen (15) institutions.
It is reported that Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam has been alleged of Suraksha Insurance, adding the Minister's photo into school textbooks, the loss incurred by issuing vouchers in place of school uniform materials and the loss incurred by the decision to purchase tablet computers.
