Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today rejected a proposal to stop providing food to Parliamentarians.
A proposal was made in Parliament today to stop providing food to Parliamentarians and to instead use that money to give food to the students who visit Parliament.
The Speaker was also informed that the food provided to the MPs is not of good quality.
However Speaker Karu Jayasuriya rejected the proposal.
