Forty percent of the Meethotamulla revival project has been completed with the first stage of the project is expected to be completed by the end of this year, says secretary of the Western Development and Megapolis ministry - Nihal Rupasinghe.
The Urban Development Authority had reserved Rs. 900 million for the project, he added.
The project involves the building of a recreation park which is being built with the involvement of the military and the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) is providing consultancy services.
