Hotels and tourists’ boutiques with liquor licences have been permitted to sell alcohol on the 13th and 14th of April.
The Excise Department said all other retail liquor outlets islandwide will be closed during this period.
The decision has been taken in view of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year which will be celebrated on the 13th and 14th of April. (Colombo Gazette)
