The vehicle belonging to All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) Leader MP Rishad Bathiudeen was allegedly damaged yesterday when a group of unidentified persons pelted it with stones close to Kadaymottai, Puttalam last evening.
Police said that the vehicle in which the former Minister was travelling suffered minor damages while his backup vehicle was also damaged. There were no reports of injuries to anyone. Mundalama Police are investigating the incident.
