Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will do its maximum to bring about national reconciliation in the nation, Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa said over the weekend.
Mr.premadasa who was speaking during a gathering where he distributed IT equipment to a rural school in the area said his party will do its maximum to build up goodwill and understanding among the religious and ethnic groups in the country. “SJB is not a party which try to fulfil its political aspirations through creating unrest among religious and ethnic groups in the country.we have seen the curse that had come upon the nation because of those who used created unrest among different ethnic and religious groups in the country.there is a scarcity of medicine, gas and other essential items.the petroleum minister had warned of fuel scarcity in the coming weeks.this is a curse,”he said.
