Whilst stating that there are differences of opinion between himself and Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa, SJB MP Harin Fernando today said Premadsa can be put on the right track if the MPs get together and show him the right path.
Speaking during the SJB office opening in Wattala, Harin said it will be possible to succeed if the game is played in the right way.
"My thinking pattern is different from Mr. Premadasa's. However it will be possible to put Mr. Premadasa is on the right track if the MPs in the party get together and insist on making decisions based on majority thinking. We could not do it in UNP," Harin said.
Harin also announced that he will retire from politics when he reaches the age of 60. "I cannot go beyond the age of 60. However my intention is to create some successes to take over Wattala and Gampaha," he stressed.(Daily Mirror)
