Claiming that people have lost faith in the political systems in the country over the years, former President Maithripala Sirisena’s son Daham Sirisena said today it was only the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and its leader had an action plan to rebuild the country.
He said the people had lost faith in the political system that they opted to leave the country.
“There are lots of issues in the country today. A number of youth have lost their jobs and they are even unable to meet their basic needs,” he said.
He said it was vital to build faith in the people and that there should be a right and long-term action plan for that.
“The SLFP and its mature leadership consist such a plan,” he said.
Daham said he was ready to take any challenge for the sake of the people. (Daily
