It is reported that Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena has become the leader of the country.
Mahinda Yapa has been given this status due to the departure of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa this morning (18) and the visit of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to Italy.
