Party Leaders today decided to take up the debate on emergency proclamation issued on essential goods on September 6, Serjeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando said today.
Mr. Fernando told Daily Mirror that party leaders decided to restrict Parliament sessions for two days next week because of the pandemic situation.
The House is also expected to take up debates on several regulations imposed under Financial Bills next week.
This is the second time in succession where Parliament sessions were reduced as a result of the pandemic.(Daily Mirror)
