The majority of the 38,000 persons recruited to the public sector under lower qualifications are being paid a monthly salary of Rs. 14,000 without being deployed for any duties throughout 08 months, reports say.
The recruitments were done as per a pre-election pledge, reports add.
It is said that the government has spent nearly Rs. 2 billion to pay their salaries in this manner.
