The SLFP-MPs who joined the government would take individual decision regarding their political activities in the future, said UPFA_MP A.H.M. Fowzie.
He claimed that he has no political future with the SLFP.
Fowzie further said, “I have served the SLFP for 45 years. I was the Central Colombo Organiser, but former President Mahinda Rajapaksa gave half of my electorate to Faiszer Mustapha. Then President Maithripala Sirisena gave him my half as well. Therefore, I am no longer an organiser for the SLFP so I left. I will take a decision regarding my political future, but I will not go beyond my group. I will take a decision shortly.”
However, according to UNP sources, the MPs who will join the coalition will do so as a group based on an invitation by Ranil Wickremesinghe.
