Parliamentarians Ashu Marasinghe, and Wimalaweera Dissanayaka, today (Jul 31) made their asset declaration public, joining the list of eight others who had done so, Transparency International said.
The global anti-corruption body released the asset declarations of the two parliamentarians on their website http://www.tisrilanka.org, after launching the initiative in February this year.
Five parliamentarians disclosed their assets through Transparency International during a press conference in February.
This included parliamentarians Tharaka Balasuriya, Vasudeva Nanayakkara, M.A. Sumandiran, Vidura Wickramanayake, and State Minister Eran Wickremaratne. State Minister Ranjan Ramanayake, and Minister Harsha de Silva followed suit afterwards.
