The first anniversary celebrations of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will be held at 2.30pm, March 15th, at the Hyde Park Stadium, the party's media unit says in a statement.
The announcement was made after the 'Lankadeepa' newspaper had erroneously reported that the SJB convention will be held on Monday (08), which is coincidentally the International Women's Day.
Speaking on this regard, General Secretary of the SJB adamantly states that he had said nothing as such to the media.
He also said that arrangements have been made to hold the inaugural convention following all required health procedures.
