It is reported that the salaries of the employees working at the United National Party (UNP) Sirikotha headquarters are being paid from the personal money of the UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.
It is said that Wickremasinghe has taken this decision due to the severe financial crisis faced by the party.
Meanwhile, it is said that the UNP leader is writing a book about his political career while staying at a holiday resort in Diyatalawa.
It is reported that he is preparing to reveal some secrets in his political career that have not been revealed through this book.
