Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa says that the fuel pricing formulas will no longer be implemented.
He said that the fuel pricing formula hiked the fuel prices a rupee at a time, adding that he has no intention of burdening the people further by following the fuel pricing formula.
The Prime Minister noted that in the future the people’s requirements would be taken into consideration and a decision would be taken regarding the fuel prices.
