The Speaker informed Parliament that the proceedings of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) would be opened to the media from tomorrow.
Government members of the parliament requested the Speaker to also open up the Sectoral Oversight Committees to the media.
Meanwhile, there was a discussion in Parliament today regarding the absence of government ministers to answer questions raised by the opposition.
It was revealed that nine ministers were not present in Parliament on several occasions to answer the questions raised under Standing Order 27-21.
