A special committee has been appointed to finalise the dates to conduct the 2020 GCE Advanced Level Examination.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Education, NHM Chithrananda will chair the committee and is expected to consider all proposals that have been presented in relation to examination dates.
Education Secretary NHM Chithrananda has instructed regional directors to direct all proposals of students and teachers through their respective principals.
He said following a review of the proposals, a decision will be taken on the conduct of the Advanced Level Examination on the scheduled days.
Previously, the Education Minister announced that the 2020 GCE Advanced Level Examination will be held from the 7th of September to the 2nd of October.
