Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya has decided to appoint a seven-judge bench to consider several Fundamental Rights (FR) petitions filed with regard to the Easter Sunday attacks.
This includes the FR petition against IGP Pujith Jayasundara and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando for failing to act on the forewarnings on the attacks.
