Showers are expected to occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces, the Department of Meteorology said today (05).
Light showers will occur in the Southern and North-western provinces whereas wind speeds may increase up to 50kmh in the Nothern province.
Showers or thundershowers may occur in parts of the Uva province as well as the Ampara and Batticaloa districts after 2 pm, the Met Department added.
