The new Chairman of Litro Gas Theshara Jayasinghe says his company has sufficient gas stocks to ensure an uninterrupted supply until the end of August.
Jayasinghe who assumed duties on Tuesday said the existing gas shortage is linked to the controversial 18 liter gas cylinder introduced by the Litor Gas.
"The retail traders have refrained from making new orders, fearing a price reduction of gas and as well as, consumers too have reduced using gas," he said.
Jayasinghe stressed that there won't be a shortage of gas and assured that the Litro gas has the capability to ensure an uninterrupted service.
