A senior player of the national women's cricket team has tested positive for COVID-19, sources said.
Accordingly, at least 10 other players have been placed under quarantine.
Sources said the infected player is a fast-bowler of the team and she is now undergoing treatment at a hotel in Mount Lavinia.
Other players are being quarantined at a house in Wellampitiya.
Because of this situation, the practice sessions of the team have been abandoned.
