The Police Department has received 27 complaints against former Governors Asath Salley, M.L.A.M. Hisbullah and Former Minister Rishad Bathiudeenas of 4 pm yesterday evening
According to a press release issued by Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera, the Police received 12 complaints against former Minister Rishard Bathiudeen . Surakumu Sri Lanka Organization Chairman Ven. Pahiyangala Ananda Sagara Thera and Attorney at Law Anuradha Senerath had made three complaints each. The other complaints are from M. G. Asela Sampath, Attorney at Law Indrasiri Senaratne, General Secretary of Thrastha Virodi Jathika Ekamuthuwa Ven. Medille Pannayaloka Thera , Attorney at Law Premanath C. Dolawatte , Eeelachendran Peris, and Anthony Patrick Jayaratne.
Five complaints have received against former Governor Azath Salley and Surakumu Sri Lanka Organization Chairman Ven. Pahiyangala Ananda Sagara Thera, Ajith Prasanna, Ruwan Fonseke and Upul Ranjith Jayasena are complainants.
The statement said that the department has received two complaints against former Governor M.L.A.M. Hisbullah Eight persons including parliamentarians Roshan Ranasinghe, Udaya Prabath Gammanpila and S. B. Dissanayake have made complaints against these former Governors and former Minister Rishard Bathiudeen.
