2024 වර්ෂය සදහා වන විසර්ජන පනත් කෙටුම්පත කාරක සභා අවස්ථා විවාදයේ පළමු දිනය වන අද (22) විවාදයට ගැණුනු ගරු ජනාධිපතිවරයා‍ගේ වැය ශීර්ෂය වැඩි ඡන්ද 59කින් සංශෝධන සහිතව සම්මත විය.
කාරක සභා අවස්ථා විවාදයෙන් අනතුරුව අද ප.ව 6.10 ට පමණ ජාතික ජන බලවේගයේ නායක අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා ගරු ජනාධිපතිවරයා‍ගේ වැය ශීර්ෂය සදහා ඡන්ද විමසීමක් ඉල්ලා සිටි අතර ඒ අනුව පැවති ඡන්ද විමසීමේදී ඊට පක්ෂව ඡන්ද 62ක්ද විපක්ෂව ඡන්ද 3ක්ද හිමි විය.

The Budget Head of the Hon. President passed by majority vote
Today (22), on the first day of the Committee Stage of the Appropriation Bill for the year 2024, the budget head of the Hon. President taken up for debate was passed with amendments by a 59 majority votes.
Following the debate of the Committee Stage held today at around 6:10 pm, the leader of the Jathika Janabalawegaya (JJB), Hon. Anura Kumara Dissanayake called for a division for the President's budget head, and accordingly, 62 votes were cast in favor of it and 3 votes were cast against.
