The TNA will hold a meeting this week under the leadership of R. Sampanthan to take a final decision on which presidential candidate they would support.
As there were several opinions being express3ed at the meeting held last week, the TNA was unable to take a firm stand on who they would support.
It is also reported that the TNA is expected to hold discussions with the three main presidential candidates Sajith Premadasa, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
It is stated that several of the TNA-MPs are of firm stands regarding several of these presidential hopefuls.
However, a TNA-MP told Sri Lanka Mirror that they would definitely take a final decision this week regarding which presidential candidate they would back.
