Party leaders who met today have decided to postpone the debate on the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene announced today.
The Speaker said it will be taken up for debate during the next parliamentary week.
Speaker was forced to call for the party leaders meeting after both the ruling and opposition party members blamed each other for blocking it.
