The United National Party (UNP) yesterday obtained an interim order from the District Court of Colombo preventing two of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) members from accessing funds of a plantation union.
The interim order was against Lanka Jathika Estate Workers Union (LJEWS) President Harin Fernando and Secretary Vadivel Suresh, preventing them of utilising the assets and finances of the union. Both Fernando and Suresh are members of the SJB.
