Hon. Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando, Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, today attended the 78th National Independence Day celebration organised by the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Dubai.
Addressing a distinguished gathering of leaders of Sri Lankan associations, professionals, and members of the Sri Lankan community living in Dubai, the Minister acknowledged the generous contributions of the Sri Lankan community toward rebuilding the nation.
He emphasized the Government’s commitment to fostering peace and harmony among all ethnic communities and to strengthening Sri Lanka’s economy to create a better future for generations to come.
