Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha yesterday called on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to congratulate his party’s victory at Thursday’s General Election.
“As a fellow democracy, India welcomes the mandate and remains committed to further strengthening bilateral ties for the benefit of our peoples,” said Jha in a post on X after the meeting.
