President Maithripala Sirisena will pay a three-day visit to Cambodia from today 7 Aug 2019.
Issuing a press release yesterday 6 Aug, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia said that Sirisena will visit the country at the invitation of the King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni.
During his visit, Sirisena is scheduled to have discussions with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen during which various fields of the bilateral corporation, views on regional and international issues of common concern and interest will be discussed.
“Following this meeting, President Maitripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Hun Sen will witness the signing of a number of agreements,” the statement said.
The President will also have a royal audience with the King of Cambodia at the Royal Palace, the statement added.
