Commander of the Sri Lanka Army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, accompanied by the official delegation including Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka, met with Commander of the Land Forces of Russia General of the Army Oleg Salyukov yesterday. The discussions took place on the margins of the International Army Games - the main military sports event of the year, annually organised by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
Also, in the framework of the visit to the Army Games, Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka gave an interview to a Vietnamese mass media outlet and attended the Tank biathlon competition together with the Sri Lanka Army Commander.
