The Government is mulling towards moving out its offices from private buildings onto State-owned buildings.
This decision had been taken with the view of minimising the additional cost incurred to the government for locating its offices in privately-owned buildings.
Presently, several Ministries, line management offices and several state institutions are housed in privately-owned buildings. Steps have already been taken to obtain information with regard to these institutions.
