'No decision taken to impose curfew, restrictions'

No decision has been taken to impose quarantine curfew or travel restrictions during the next few days, Army commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva says.

The Army Commander said a special discussion will be held today under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa pertaining to maintaining the situation in the country over the next few days.

Speaking to media, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said a final decision has not been reached thus far to impose strict travel restrictions in areas that are not declared as isolated at present.
