Investigations into Ceypetco 65 million fraud Presidential Commission appointed to investigatecorruption at state institutionswithin the past four years has commencedinvestigations into Rs. 65 million fraud said to have taken place at CeylonPetroleum Corporation.
A complaint was lodged at the Presidential Commission appointed to investigate corruption at stateinstitutions regardinga financial fraud violating the CPC technical division procedures andcancelling the CPC invoices of selected fuel station owners.
Even the three CPC internal audits and investigation report confirms that Rs.366 million financial fraud.
Accordingly, the Commission said that the investigation into the complaintwould commence on September 11.
